TERMS & CONDITIONS
Booking & Payments - Safaris & Private Hires
All Safaris subject to availability at time of booking. Payments cash or cheque to Dartmoor Safaris cheques to be supported by bankers card. Dartmoor Safaris will do their best to operate on the specific date or offer an alternative date subject to the conditions set out below.£25 admin charge per booking required ( Non Refundable)on all Airport Transfers . No deposit required but all journeys must be paid in full on the outward journey. Payments are cash only. We undertake to collect you and your luggage at pre-arranged time and take you to your departure airport in time to check-in. Meet you on return journey and take you to your destination.If destination is different than quoted a small payment may become payable.( No Waiting Charges for first two hours for late return flights.)Dartmoor Safaris reserve the right to substitute other suitable vehicles or another company when required for your journey at no extra cost to yourselves. Luggage Although we take every care with your luggage we do not offer any compensation should it be lost or damaged.
Multi pick ups within the Plymouth area at no extra charge.All vehicles non smoking.
You the client take full responsibility for correct information as to dates flight times ect at time of booking.The client accepting and adhering to Dartmoor Safaris recommended departure times.Missed return flights will be charged and no refund given.
Cancellations
By you: Unfortunately once the booking has been confirmed full fare becomes payable for all booked seats unless we have been notified of cancellation at least 7 days before travel date.
By Us: In the unlikely event of a Safari or Private Hire including airport Transferes being cancelled for reasons not covered in 'force majeure' you will be notified as soon as possable & all monies paid returned and no futher liability will arise for Dartmoor Safaris once money has been refunded.
Force Majeure
If we change or cancel tours or private hires because of force majeure no compensation or refund will be paid. These are unusual & unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control the consequences of which neither we or or suppliers can avoid.E.G war or threat of war , riots ,civil strife,indutrial disputes , nature or nuclear disasters , adverse weather conditions and similar events beyond our control.
Offers
The company reserve the right to cancel any special offers or conditions at any time without prior notice.
These terms and conditions do not effect your statutory rights.

Dartmoor prison started as a prisoner of war camp in 1806 housing French prisoners and later American prisoners in 1812.It was empty for several years and then in 1890s became one of England's notorious prisons. It is still used to this day as a convict prison housing around 600 inmates.
